If you inhale the smell of mold spores over a long period of time, you can be affected by many annoying symptoms, as this puts a heavy strain on the immune system. Mold can also lead to respiratory diseases. Serious health problems can develop, especially for children or older people.

Depending on how much mold your car is infested with, you can try to remove it yourself. You can spray the affected area with an anti-mold spray and wipe it dry with a cloth. But be careful, seat covers and upholstery are easily discolored by the anti-mould agents. If the air conditioning and/or heating are affected by mold, or if the mold infestation is very extensive, you should visit a garage immediately.
