PAINT RIMS
Scratches on the rims:
If the car is used regularly, wear and tear on the rims can hardly be avoided. Road dirt, curbs and the like quickly cause scratches on the aluminum rims. If there are scratches and indentations on the rims, they must be sanded so that the rim is smooth again. So that no difference is noticed, the Auto Müller grinds the entire rim and for this reason it is then completely painted after further work steps.
Procedure for painting rims:
Scratches and damage to the rim paint must be removed quickly. Without repair, the damage will increase and possibly lead to larger defects. Damaged rims also reduce the value of the vehicle. It is therefore all the more important to bring damaged rims up to scratch by repainting them. First, the rims are completely sanded. After sanding, the sanded areas are filled with a suitable product from a specialist dealer. Then the rims must be re-primed and repainted. To paint one rim, Auto Müller needs one working day, for all 4 rims about two working days effort. It is not recommended to paint the rims yourself, because the know-how is missing, as well as the special tools to perform this work.

Gloss turned rims can be recognized by the fact that the rims are not only painted, but also turned with a special machine. The machine turns circular fine grooves around the entire rim, giving the rim a two-tone shine.
